waqad kafarū bihi min qablu wayaqdhifūna bil-ghaybi min makānin baʿīdi
And certainly, they disbelieved in it from before. And they utter conjectures about the unseen from a place far off.
seeing that aforetime they had been bent on denying the truth, and had been wont to cast scorn, from far away, on something that was beyond the reach of human perception
When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off
Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off
while they had already rejected it before, guessing blindly from a place ˹equally˺ far-away ˹from the Hereafter˺?
They had already denied the truth and were prone to guessing from afar about things beyond their perception.
They had rejected it before, while they indulged in conjectures from far away
And they disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place
And, surely, they were ungrateful for it before. And they hurl at the unseen from a far place.
They have already disbelieved in it, and aimed at [knowing] the Unseen from a distance.
Indeed they did disbelieve in it before (in the world), and they used to guess about the unseen (the Hereafter) from a far place.
when they had disbelieved in it beforehand, while impugning the unseen from a place far off
And indeed, they did disbelieve in this (Al-Kitab) before (i.e., in their worldly life). And they (while in their worldly life) conjecture about the unseen (world of Resurrection, Accountability, Hell and Paradise etc.) from a remote place (i.e., while they are on the planet earth)
They had disbelieved in it before - and they had sneered at the unseen when they were far away during their life on earth
They have rejected it in the past, and made allegations from a far-off place
And they already disbelieved in it earlier, and they hurl (their guesses) at the Unseen from a place far (away)
They had rejected it in their worldly life and expressed disbelief at the unseen (Day of Judgment), considering it less than a remote possibility
while they had rejected it before, and used to make conjectures from a remote place
They adamantly rejected the Truth before and they kept shooting the arrows of conjecture from faraway
Earlier on, (when they were alive) they had rejected it. They used to suppose and surmise about the unseen. (They relied on human perceptions); they were so far away
Knowing that they rejected Faith before, and that they told lies about the Unseen from a place far off
And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away
And they had rejected it in the past; and they conjectured about the unseen from a place far off
they denied it all in the past, and threw conjecture from a faroff place
Whereas they disbelieved therein afore, and conjectured about the unseen from a place so afar
They had surely denied it before and aimed without seeing from so far away
when beforehand they had rejected it, shooting forth about the Unseen from a distant place?
(Seeing that) they certainly disbelieved in it before. They have been aiming at the Unseen (the Hereafter) from far away (with words all untrue and without any basis in true knowledge)
when they have already disbelieved it earlier? They shoot at the invisible from a far-off place
(Seeing) they disbelieved in it before. And they aim at the unseen from afar off (with far out conjectures
And they have disbelieved in it in the past, and accuse (and cast doubt about) the unseen from a faraway place
Seeing that before they did not entirely believe, and that they continually cast slanders on the unknown from a position far off
when previously they had denied it? They are stabbing in the dark from far away,
They disbelieved in it before and indulged in conjectures from far away
And they had rejected it in the past; and they made allegations regarding the unseen, from a place far off
And they did disbelieve in it before. And they threw stones at the unseen from a place too distant
That they had already disbelieved in it before; and they hurl without seeing from a far-off place.
They have rejected it in the past; they have decided instead to uphold conjecture and guesswork.
since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place
And they indeed disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place
And they had disbelieved with (in) Him from before, and they throw/hurl with the unseen/hidden from a far/distant place/position
They chose to reject our revelation without any objective consideration [and mocked at My Prophets for no good reason.]
For they had disbelieved in it before; and they hurl allegations without seeing, from far away
They had disbelieved in it before, while they indulged in conjectures with regard to the unseen from a far off-place
In fact, they had disbelieved before this. And they have been throwing arrows of falsehood and doubt without seeing from a distant place
While they had indeed disbelieved in it before this, and they were shooting at the unknown (and making far fetched and useless conjectures about the failure of the Prophet and their own triumph) from a place far off
Indeed they did disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah, Islam, the Quran and Muhammad SAW) before (in this world), and they (used to) conjecture about the unseen (i.e. the Hereafter, Hell, Paradise, Resurrection and the Promise of Allah, etc. (by saying) all that is untrue), from a far place
seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away
Since they had before denied him, and reviled the mysteries of faith, from a distant place
They misbelieved before, and conjectured about the unseen from a distant place
When they had before denied it, and aimed their shafts at the mysteries from afar
since they at first denied it, and sneered at the unseen when they were far away
[How could they believe then,] seeing that they rejected faith from (that time) and that they cast slander about the unseen from a place distant [from the eternal life]?
They have already disbelieved in it, and aimed at [knowing] the Unseen from a distance.
seeing that they had at first denied it all. They used to cast scorn from far away on what is imperceptible.
They had denied the reality before, indulging in conjectures about their unknown, far from the reality.
And indeed they did disbelieve in it before, and aim their conjectures about the unseen from a distant place.
They denied it before and they assailed what is unknown or unseen and what is essentially spiritual with slander while they were far distant in the world of life below
when they did not believe init earlier? And they strike (guesses) regarding the unseen, from a distance place,
